Class Layouts

This is a typical guide & is subject to change.

Week 1 of every month ~

A celebration of our members who have birthdays in the current month.

Fun & Games!  (crafts, team building games, board games, snacks..)

Week 2 of every month ~

Service Projects / community partnerships.

Kids learn to help their community, help others & realize their capabilities of making a change.  Partnerships with other community organizations are possible.  Trips might be taken.

Week 3 of every month ~

Peer Support / Mentoring & Empowerment related activities ~ members discuss current struggles & seek advice from peers in a structured, non judgmental environment.  In some instances, younger kids may be paired with older kids to act as mentors / guides through guided activities.  Kids feel empowered through the use of different activities.  They learn to feel confident with themselves.

Life skills & Methods of relaxation Kids learn important life skills.

With homework, friendships, school, & extracurricular activities, kids start to feel stressed.  In our groups, they’ll learn ways to relax through the use of specific relaxation methods &/or relaxing activities (art, sensory related, yoga, writing, nature walks, & many other activities)!

Trips might be taken.
