Flower Kids Foundation LLC was inspired by the love, guidance, and values of our grandparents. Today, our work continues in their memory.

As kids, our grandmother was a deeply special part of our lives. She taught us about love, care, creativity, and finding happiness in the simple things—whether through little crafts made from recycled materials, singing familiar songs, sharing a laugh, or simply spending time together. As she later faced Alzheimer’s disease, we came to understand even more deeply how meaningful those simple moments of connection could be, as those moments slowly became some of the only ways we could continue to feel connected to her & her to us.  Those lessons have stayed with us and continue to shape the way we create experiences for children and families today. 

These experiences shaped the values we carry into Flower Kids today: care, connection, compassion, patience, and community.

We believe children deserve spaces where they can learn, create, explore, express themselves, build friendships, and simply be kids. Through academic support, enrichment, music and arts, camps, school-break programs, special events, and new, fulfilling experiences, we create opportunities for children and families to connect, discover their strengths, and make meaningful memories with us.  

Flower Kids is more than

 the programs we offer. We are hands on, deeply involved, and committed to building genuine relationships with the children and families we serve.

What began with the inspiration of our grandparents has become Flower Kids—a place where their love and values continue to live on.

The inspiration for the name... The Flower Kids Foundation, came from a grandma Erhard's love for gardening.
